In a grand convergence of academia, the 2023 Postdoctoral Academic Exchange on Human Resource Service Industry took place in Beijing on December 29, 2023. Co-sponsored by the Office of China Postdoc Council (OCPC), the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the Department of Human Resources Mobility Management of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MoHRSS), and organized by the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS), this scholarly gathering brought together experts and scholars for in-depth and multi-dimensional discussions on human resource service industry and its high-quality advancement. The event featured an opening ceremony, a keynote speech session, and two round-table forums, drawing a wide array of participants from universities, research institutions, governmental bodies, and business communities nationwide.
The opening ceremony was moderated by Prof. Gao Wenshu, the Vice President of UCASS. The speakers that addressed the audience during the occasion included Ms. Sun Xiaoli, the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Human Resources Mobility Management , Mr. Xue Wanli, the Level Two Counselor of the Department of Professional and Technical Personnel Management of MoHRSS and Mr.Li Honglei, the Deputy Director-General of the Personnel Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).
Chairing the keynote speech session was Prof. Cong Xiaonan, the Vice Dean of the School of Applied Economics at UCASS. The session comprised of erudite minds from various institutions, such as the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, the Capital University of Economics and Business, the Institute of Industrial Economics of CASS, the Chinese Academy of Personnel Science, and the Beijing Trust Com Technology Service Company and UCASS.
The latter half of the exchange program bifurcated into two dynamic round-table forums, delving into the realms of “High-Quality Development of the Human Resource Service Industry” and the “Innovative Development of Human Resource Service Providers”.
